ELF Hydrating Camo Concealer Review 2021

My makeup regimen was kicked up a level when I found the ELF Hydrating Camo Concealer (16 HR). I’d never had a concealer that could stay virtually crease-free on me all day before, so ELF camo concealer hydrating was a game-changer. In the winter, though, I avoided matte finishes in favor of more radiant makeup to balance out my dry skin. As a result, the matte Camo Concealer sat unused for months.

That is. However, that wasn’t true until ELF hydrating camo concealer swatches came out with their moisturizing Camo Concealer. Other than the new finish, this version is believed to have fixed the oxidizing problem that afflicted the original. The matte ELF camo concealer hydrating shifts hues dramatically after application, but the new product dries true to the color seen in the container.

Because you have more time until it completely sets, the new ELF Hydrating Camo Concealer has a creamier consistency and is simpler to blend out than the original. I believe the texture also contributes to the need for less product because ELF camo concealer distributes much more easily.

You receive the same great complete coverage as the original formula, but with a somewhat radiant (but NOT dewy) finish that dries down to the touch. Even when not set, the concealer does not feel sticky or slick.

Best concealer

Unlike the original ELF hydrating camo concealer swatches, which promise 16 hours of wear, this concealer makes no particular wear time claim other than “all day.” That is correct, at least for an 810 hour day. I had the same – albeit very minor – creases beneath my eyes as with the original (you can see a comparison in the video at the top of the page).

Aside from that, the coverage on my cheeks over dark patches and blemishes remained perfect after 8+ hours, with both coverage and blended edges.

As someone who prefers satin or demi-matte finish foundations, ELF Hydrating Camo Concealer is good for my skin type because the matte finish stands out more against bare skin.

ELF camo concealer will work much better when I want to skip foundation entirely and apply the best concealer. However, for oily skin/areas or sweaty days, I would suggest the original matte formula.

My Experience With Elf Hydrating Camo Concealer

ELF hydrating camo concealer swatches

I had purchased ELF hydrating camo concealer swatches in the shade Medium Sand and found it to be far too light. So I reordered and selected Medium Beige, which is quite dark, so the color range is a little wrong. When I mix them, they appear to be closer to the shade I’m going for.

Aside from the shade range, which might be expanded, the recipe is superb. It’s the best concealer, hydrating, and has buildable coverage.

The ELF camo concealer offers less coverage than the regular 16-hour, but you can get tremendous coverage by layering it. After using both of them, I hope that combining the two could create the best concealer.

I would rate this product a solid five stars since it is a good concealer at a reasonable price. However, on subsequent orders, I’ve encountered a handful of different color problems. I consistently requested “Tan Walnut” and bought the same hue in shops.

Just be advised that there appear to be some color changes if you recently purchased this ELF camo hydrating concealer product. It might be a one-time occurrence, but I’d rather notify everyone.

Final Words

Best concealer

The moisturizing ELF concealer is your secret weapon for looking your best. This moisture-rich, creamy product blends in like a second skin, laying the scene for any look your heart wants.

Set ELF hydrating camo concealer with a light powder application for a natural, minimalist look, or go big with red lips and black eyeliner. The only limit is your creativity. ELF brings the finest of beauty to every eye, lip, and face. Your creativity is limitless, and we are motivated by what makes you special.

It is a long-wearing liquid concealer that delivers crease-free complete coverage while also moisturizing your skin.

Why I like it: It provides full coverage with a satin finish.

It has no creases at all! Blends well and is a wonderful all-around product; I plan to try additional concealers in the future, but this is the finest one I've used so far! I adore it!

It is non-drying and will not wrinkle. Select your shade from the moisturizing camo concealer since it will oxidize to that hue.

I don't mind that they changed the colors and made the product not rust like the original.

OH, and for specific goods in the ELF Line, don't be fooled by their low pricing!

For the past four years, I've been using and gifting ELF the following goods from their range, which I've been using regularly.

According to a forum, ELF Cosmetics 16hr Camo Concealer was the finest they'd ever tried. Users sent a slew of positive feedback, stating that the brilliant concealer stays on through nearly everything.
